As they say the cobbler's children have no shoes. (I've been busy making the pizzelles -- not writing blogs!)
I must admit that in the past, our summer months have been very slow save for a few weddings, parties, individual orders for special occasions. And if anyone knows us, we don't do much marketing for fear that it drives production over our small-batch capacity. We truly rely on social channels and word of mouth to keep the business rolling ;)
In fact, the pizzelle season, in all its seasonality, sees spikes at holiday time -- which is what prompted my message to "stop waiting and start eating!" Hear one hear all! We don't need no stinkin' holiday to eat a cookie.
It's 2018, and our stores have been ramping up inventory because, alas...there are people who truly know the difference between the mass-produced "pizzelle" and the Bellapizzelle. And they aren't waiting for anything.
To all of our customers, no matter from what store you purchase or what channel you use, we thank you.
So we are not experiencing the lazy days of summer. We are experiencing a steady stream of orders that makes us really happy...and hot.
